Are you a physician, psychiatrist, or other provider?
For more than 20 years, I have provided neuropsychological evaluation and consultation services to patients in Columbus and surrounding areas. I am writing to ensure that current and potential new referral sources are aware of the neuropsychological services available. My goal is to continue to provide needed services to your patients or clients.
If you are familiar with my practice, thank you for your referrals and trusting me and my staff to evaluate and treat your patients. If you are unfamiliar with my practice, I hope the information below will specify the neuropsychological and psychological services that could be of assistance to you and your patients.
Services I Provide to Adults
As a clinical neuropsychologist, I provide detailed neuropsychological evaluations, individual and neurorehabilitative psychotherapy, and consultation services to adults. Patients are referred from a wide array of sources including family and geriatric medicine, neurology, neurosurgery, psychiatry, health and clinical psychology, as well as employment-based and medico-legal referral sources.
Neuropsychological Evaluations
Clinical evaluations consist of comprehensive assessment of cognitive, behavioral, psychosocial, emotional and personality issues related to neurodevelopmental and/or acquired brain illnesses.
Forensic Evaluations
Forensic evaluations and independent medical examinations (IME) are neuropsychological examinations conducted in legal cases or with individuals referred by employers, insurance companies or other parties to address specific diagnostic, clinical and functional questions.
Individual Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy involves working with you, one-on-one, in a safe, private, caring and confidential setting to address issues, concerns, and challenges that interfere with your ability to achieve life goals and function to your potential.
Neurorehabilitative Psychotherapy
Neurorehabilitative psychotherapy applies the principles and foundation of traditional psychotherapy in the co-management of central nervous system injuries and co-morbid emotional, behavioural, cognitive and psychiatric issues. This highlights the diversity and complexity of neurological diseases with frequent occurrence of collateral psychological issues.
Forensic & Consultation Services
Clinical consultation with patients and other medical and mental health providers involves the application of neuropsychological expertise to assist with relevant diagnostic questions, clinical management and treatment planning.
Forensic consultations involve the application of neuropsychological expertise in legal and court-appointed cases.
